WeeCasa is one of the biggest tiny-house resorts in the United States, and it’s located on the outskirts of Lyons, Colorado, on the banks of the St. Vrain River. The site has 22 tiny houses that may be rented out on a nightly basis, giving guests a novel experience centered on minimalist living and outdoor exploration.
Lyons has a lot to do nearby, making the WeeCasa resort an ideal base for hiking, biking, and plenty of breweries and restaurants. Water sports, skiing, and music venues are also close, and “adventure playgrounds” are great spots for burning off some energy outdoors.
Amenities
The whole property is outfitted with free Wi-Fi, and there are community fire pits stocked with wood for anybody who would want to use them. Make use of the proximity to the river or one of the lawn activities like bocce, corn hole, or volleyball for some much-needed relaxation.
Casas
Each of the 22 WeeCasas accommodates anywhere from two to six people and is tastefully decorated with a theme. The “Gnome Home” is one of the most original cabins and features round doors and fishbowl windows for a whimsical effect.
Each home, which ranges in size from around 165 to 400 square feet, makes the most of its space by adhering to the principle of “less is more” and using the bare minimum of features. The greatest in-casa facilities include kitchenettes equipped with a mini-fridge, cookware, dishes, comfortable bedding, and a French press coffee machine stocked with grinds and garbage bags.
A few tiny houses have smart screens that require guests to provide their streaming devices, such as an Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, or Google Chromecast. In addition, there is a private bathroom that has a basin, a shower, and amenities.

Know Before You Go
It’s against the rules to bring any animal inside the small cottages (except service animals with advance notice), and any sort of smoking is not permitted. If a guest is found to violate any of these rules, they may be subject to a significant fine. When making reservations, full payment is expected at the time the reservation is made.
