Aspen Ice Garden is one of the most popular places in Aspen to go skating and has been part of the town’s history for the past 5 decades. It’s the venue of choice for different skating clubs and hockey leagues as it houses a large skating surface (85 feet by 185 feet), which got remodeled in 2013.
The entire facility can be rented for private events as well. The Aspen Ice Garden is open only during weekends and scheduled events. Every summer, it becomes a contemporary gallery for events like the Aspen Antiques & Fine Arts Fair and Art Aspen. Since it’s located downtown, all the shops and restaurants are close by as well.
