Evergreen Lake is the largest Zamboni-maintained outdoor ice rink in North America with 8.5 acres of groomed ice. It offers both day and night skating, with different hours depending on the day.
Enjoy some leisure laps around this giant lake or bring your stick & puck for some hockey. The season varies depending on the weather but is generally open from Christmas until March.
Ten pass punch cards and season tickets are available for those living close by. There’s a broomball rental available, which comes with a rink, sticks, and balls. You can also rent the rink by itself without equipment. Additionally, skates are available for rent in the Lake House.
Parking is limited, but shuttles run from the Wulf Rec Center during peak times. Alcohol is not permitted in the park. Ice fishing is also common during the winter.
Evergreen Park includes a forty-acre lake, a one-acre park with picnic tables, wetlands, an observation boardwalk, a 1.3-mile trail loop, paddle boats, canoes, and fishing boats for summer use.
