The Glacier Ice Arena is the only indoor ice rink in Western Colorado that is open year round. It’s located in Grand Junction.
Built in 2006, it houses a 200 feet by 85 feet rink and offers various programs like yoga, dance, theater on ice, edge class and even a flexible skating program for children with special needs. Apart from the rink, other facilities include locker rooms, concessions and a huge party room (775 sq. feet) that overlooks the rink.
Private events are sure to be a big hit through their fantastic sound system and amazing laser light show. Public skating and equipment rentals are also available onsite. The arena is home to the Colorado Mesa University Men’s hockey team.
