Harvesting Home: “Em”powering Boulder County’s Food & Energy Future is a fun community event hosted at Jack’s Solar Garden in Longmont. Meet local farms and other food and energy-related organizations working within Boulder County, and learn how you can get involved with them.
This event is about empowering you to take action within your local community and to support small businesses and organizations trying to make a difference. It’s held on Saturday, May 17th, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Jack’s Solar Garden provides a unique setting for this event. Walk under the shade of the solar panels while meeting our exciting and innovative participants. Come and learn about ways to support small local farms through CSA shares or volunteer opportunities.
Hear about local policy initiatives and learn about how to support these yourself. Meet organizations working in food access and reducing food waste.
This inspiring event is a fun day out for all ages. A coffee cart will be available with drinks for purchase.

Other Tours Led By CO Agrivoltaic Learning Center

If you can’t make it to the Harvesting Home event on Saturday, May 17th, there are other tours throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The non-profit, Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center, hosts tours every other Saturday for the public at Jack’s Solar Garden. It’s the country’s biggest agrivoltaic research site.
They also lead Corporate and Private Tours, as well as Field Trips to Jack’s Solar Garden.
