Victor Thomas Lowell Museum is housed in an original 1899 building that once served as a hardware store, hotel and furniture store. It’s located in downtown Victor, only a few miles from Cripple Creek.
The museum displays two floors of original artifacts depicting life in Victor during its mining heyday. It also has memorabilia from famous author and world traveler, Lowell Thomas.
After your tour of the museum, try your luck outside panning for real gold and gems. There is also a gift shop with books, maps, posters and gold ore rocks.
