Firecracker Sledding Hill serves the need for those wanting to sled or tube in Telluride. It features a friendly climb up and slick narrow lane down.
The hill is located on the south side of Telluride Town Park. Follow an orange cone lined path to Firecracker Hill. The sledding hill is only one lane, but quite quick. Admission is free. By late November there is usually enough snow for tubing.
Rentals are available at the Nordic Center. You can also find them in town at the local Ace Hardware.
