Colorado Mammoth are Denver’s professional box lacrosse team, competing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). They have played indoors at the Pepsi Center since 2003. The games are known to draw as many people to the Pepsi Center as the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets.
Their colors are burgundy, black and white. They are owned by Stan Kroenke, who also owns the Colorado Rapids (MLS), Denver Nuggets (NBA), and Colorado Avalanche (NHL). The Colorado Mammoth are one of the top teams in the NLL, so games are always popular.
One of thirteen active teams in the NLL, the Colorado Mammoth provide one of the most exciting sports displays in the Pepsi Center. Games are higher scoring than hockey and more prone to fights than basketball. And the Pepsi Center puts on a hell of a show. There season runs from December to April, with potential for an extended season if they make playoffs.
To reach the venue, exit Interstate 25 on Auraria Parkway for downtown Denver. Paid event parking available.
