Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) provides flight access to the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. It’s located in the town of Gunnison about 1 mile from downtown.
The winter is the busiest season for the airport, with passengers looking to access the ski slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The ski area is located only 30 miles north of the airport, with shuttles and other public transportation available. Airports around the world and U.S. can access Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport.

The terminal is a single big building with several car rental agencies. The amenities are limited, especially in terms of food and drinks, other than vending machines. It’s best you eat before you come to the airport.

Each winter you can fly direct nonstop to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Denver International Airport (DEN), and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), via United and American Airlines. The summer and off season United continues to serve Houston and Denver.
