Purgatory Plunge Zipline – Durango

Purgatory Plunge Zipline
Purgatory Plunge at Durango Mountain Resort.

The Purgatory Plunge is open during the summer at the Purgatory Mountain Resort. It operates on the weekends during resort operating hours. “Plungers” zip directly over the center of the village.

It’s an easy and non-challenging zip line that’s fun for all ages. It’s also a short adventure, so it won’t take all day! There are two zip lines that run parallel so family and friends can compete. Plungers reach 35 miles per hour on the descent.

The excitement begins atop the Purgatory Village Tower, the tallest building in town. Riders then take a football-field sized plunge over the folks relaxing on the patio at Purgy’s.

Requirements:

  • Children must be 7 years old.
