Held over weekends in October, Boo at the Zoo is a terrific venue for trick-or-treating in Denver. See all the amazing animals and costumes as you wander around the Denver Zoo.
This year’s event takes place on October 3-4, 10-12, 17-19, 24-26, and October 31, 2025, all from 4:30 pm to 9 pm. By having multiple days, it minimizes crowds and promotes a better evening.
Dress up in a cool costume and remember your trick-or-treat bag. There is a Bag + Cryptid Guidebook Decorating Station where you can decorate yours. Some of the other highlights include:

• Cryptid creatures and costumed characters
• Animal Ambassadors
• Festive photo ops
• Seasonal snacks
Full masks and those that cover your eyes are not allowed for guests 12 years and older. Please choose costumes that aren’t too gory or violent.
To help you get around easier at the Denver Zoo, you can rent strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, and electric convenience scooters.
