Frisco Adventure Park features a 1200-foot tubing hill with lift service, operating day and night, as well as a small bigger ski area. It’s located about a mile from downtown Frisco in Summit County, within the Peninsula Recreation Area.

For those staying around Summit County, in the popular towns of Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, Keystone or Copper Mountain, this winter resort park offers convenient, family-fun all season long.

The tubing hill usually opens for the season around Thanksgiving weekend in November, conditions permitting. It’s then open seven days per week through the winter season. Reservations are required for snow tubing.

There are several lanes of varying pitches, so some will be gentler and others steeper for more thrilling rides. A surface lift returns you and your tube to the top of the hill for another descent.

You can opt for an all-day tubing hill that’s also good at the ski hill, or purchase an hourly tubing pass.

In addition to tubing, the park offers a ski and snowboard hill for beginners and a small terrain park. It typically opens in December before Christmas but will operate sooner if snowfall allows for it. The season runs until early April.

The perks of this newbie hill are its uncrowded, budget-friendly slopes, which are very close to the parking area. A magic carpet returns skiers and snowboarders to the top of the hill from the base.

Snowschoolers provides ski and snowboard lessons for those learning the sport. 1-hour, half-day and full-day private lessons are available. Book your spot online or call 970-698-7669.
