Bethune is a tiny Statutory Town located along U.S. Highway 24, which runs parallel to Interstate 70 in the eastern plains. The town of 237 residents as of 2010 resides at an elevation of 4,258 feet.
It was incorporated on June 10th, 1926. Bethune is part of Kit Carson County. It’s situated a little more than an hour east of Limon, and close to the Kansas border.
