Hasty is a tiny community of 182 at the time of the 2020 U.S. Census. It’s tucked away in the southeast of Colorado by John Martin Reservoir.
The elevation of the town is 3,870 feet, although it’s all pretty flat. It’s located in Bent County, of which its neighbor Las Animas, is the county seat.
