Hasty is a minute community of 144 at the time of the 2010 U.S. Census. It’s tucked away in the southeast of Colorado by John Martin Reservoir.
The elevation of the town is 3,870 feet, although it’s all pretty flat. It’s located in Bent County, of which its neighbor Las Animas, is the county seat.
John Martin Reservoir – This state park is an oasis in the plains of southeast Colorado. It invites year round outdoor lovers, whom enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and camping. Water sports are commonplace, including jet skis, water skiing and sailboarding.
