In the summer, Durango’s Purgatory Resort features two alpine slides, approximately 2,300 feet in length. You take a chair lift and race down the mountain.
The resort also features the Inferno Mountain Coaster, which runs 4,000 feet in length. It’s open year-round on select days. Other entertaining attractions include a zip line, mountain bike park, and climbing wall.
Enjoy your alpine slide journey more than half a mile down Purg’s summer slope. Purchase single tickets for the Alpine Slide or a Total Adventure Ticket, which grants inclusive access to the resort’s other summer activities.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 3 years old and 36 inches tall to ride with an adult.
- Must be at least 6 years old and 42 inches tall to ride solo.
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
