Howelsen Hill Nordic Center features thirteen miles of rolling, beautiful Yampa Valley trails. Everything is groomed daily to maximize fun and control.
Rentals are not available from Howelsen Hill but can be found in town at the Ski Haus and the Ski Touring Center. Fat tire bikers are permitted on the trails, however they may not use them between 2pm and 6pm, Monday through Friday.
The Nordic Center shares hours with the alpine ski area, which is open every day but Monday. Oh and the place is lit up several nights a week!
The ski area at Howelsen is most known for their Olympic ski jumps. The Howelsen Park area also contains an indoor ice rink open year round.
