Situated in Telluride’s Town Park, Hanley Ice Rink is a winter ice skating pavilion, perfect for all ages. The largest covered ice rink in town, Hanley houses a fully refrigerated NHL-sized ice rink that’s open from mid-October thru mid-March.
You can get rentals at the nearby Telluride Nordic Center, which also sharpens skates. Skating lessons are also offered.
The Town Park also boasts a couple of outdoor, natural rinks that are open from mid-December to mid-February, weather permitting. It’s called the Core Area Ice Rink & Volleyball Ice Rink. On-site, there’s a warming hut equipped with bathrooms.
Another place to ice skate outside is the Mountain Village Ice Rink.
