Eckley is a small northeastern plains town tucked away near both the Nebraska and Kansas borders. Located at 3,907 feet, the town had a population of only 232 in 2020.
The statutory town is located in Yuma County. It was incorporated on June 16th, 1920, but a post office by the name of Eckley has been in service since the 1880s. The town got its name from a local rancher, Adam Eckles.
