Hillrose is a tiny community of a few hundred people in Northeast Colorado. It’s located between Fort Morgan and Sterling on Interstate-76.
In 2010 there were 264 people living in town. Hillrose’s elevation is 4,173 feet. Part of Morgan County, Hillrose was incorporated on May 20th, 1919. It was named for a settler’s daughter, Rose Hill Emerson.
