Simla is a small plains community situated southeast of Denver and northeast of Colorado Springs. It resides at an elevation of 5,978 feet with a population of 618 in 2010.
The Elbert County town was incorporated on January 15th, 1912. Simla is located on Highway 24, 48 miles from Colorado Springs and 24 miles from Limon.
