Keystone Lake is one of the largest Zamboni-maintained outdoor ice rinks in North America with 5 acres of ice (Evergreen Lake Ice Rink is larger at 8.5 acres). Every day, you will find folks enjoying the ice, whether figure skating, free skating, or slapping around a puck. Rentals are available and nearby there are restaurants and lodging options for those wishing to stay in the area.
The frozen lake is situated in the Lakeside Village, not the main River Run Village where the gondola is. In the summer, Keystone Lake offers paddle boating. Located closer to the base of the mountain, Dercum Square Ice Rink has outdoor ice skating in a smaller setting.
