Since 1962, this fun fall event has welcomed the holiday season in Downtown Castle Rock. Bring the family out to the annual Castle Rock Starlighting for singing, dancing, and, of course, Santa Claus.
Happening in Downtown Castle Rock & Festival Park, this year’s celebration occurs on Saturday, November 22, 2025. It’s a free event centered around lighting the star on top of Castle Rock.
Other highlights include caroling and dancing to Christmas songs, sipping on hot chocolate, enjoying a chili supper, and a visit by Santa Claus. This Norman Rockwell experience happens from 2 pm to 6 pm beside the historic Wilcox Square.
