Do you enjoy gentle music under the night sky? If yes, then Acoustic on the Rocks would’ve been sure to provide an evening of unique pleasure and delight.
Featuring the works of Mozart, Walker, Bartok, and Tchaikovsky, Colorado’s most talented string musicians lit up the night Thursday – Monday, August 12th – 16th, 2021 and their tunes echoed through the mountainside setting of the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Performances included:
- Mozart | Divertimento in D Major, K. 136
- Walker | Lyric for Strings
- Bartok | Romanian Folk Dances
- Tchaikovsky | Serenade for Strings
Each event was 75 minutes in length with no intermission. Covid protocols included social distancing, but households were able to sit together.
