Spectators are invited to the 21st annual Devereux Polo Cup, hosted by the Roaring Fork Polo Club at the picturesque Stout Ranch in New Castle, Colorado, just minutes from Glenwood Springs. This free community event features a thrilling match between Team Land Rover and Team Hotel Colorado, showcasing some of the region’s finest polo talent.
This day of sport and scenery takes place on Sunday, June 15th, 2025, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Stout Ranch polo field. The Cup is named in honor of Walter Devereux, a local prospector, inventor, and founder of the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort and Hotel Colorado. It celebrates a long-standing tradition of sport and community spirit.

Guests can enjoy complimentary food, drinks, and live music by John Riger, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. Bleacher seating and shaded tents will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, umbrellas, and their best derby attire.
While admission is free, donations are welcome and will benefit the New Castle Historic Museum. Donors will receive a commemorative Devereux Cup poster as a token of appreciation.
Carpooling is encouraged, and water and restrooms will be available on-site. Guests are advised to bring cash for tips and donations.
