In an effort to support Estes Park charities, the park will hold its annual Duck Race Festival. This noble and humble tradition started back in 1989 and has given back more than $2 million to different charities over the years the event has been held.
The Duck Race happens every year on the first Saturday of May; this time, taking place on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. The race starts at Nicky’s Restaurant in Estes Park and finishes at the Rockwell Plaza. The rubber duckies float down Fall River.
Watch the rubber duckies as they drop into the water and waddle down the stream to the finish line. Winners will be posted and announced in real-time. Then there are also a lot of other fun activities for people to enjoy. The park will be full of live entertainment, games, food vendors, and a beer garden.
