A multi-day event that brought veterans, families, caregivers, and people of all abilities together, the No Barriers Summit had the goal of uniting the community. Aimed at helping individuals push past their limits and gain a new perspective, there were inspirational speakers, adaptive activities, and entertainment during the festival.
Previously taking place from Friday to Sunday at Copper Mountain, this event is cancelled indefinitely. Some of the activities that took place included rock climbing, archery, wheelchair basketball, boxing, hand-cycling, mountain biking, and para-fencing.
The final day of the event was typically the fundraising What’s Your Everest hike. With rope teams to help individuals reach their personal Everest, though not required, teams could consist of family, friends, or someone in the community.
