A non-competitive race that takes place across Steamboat Springs, the Tour de Steamboat benefits multiple nonprofits in the Yampa Valley area. With chances to win three prizes, such as a Shimano Open U.P frame valued at over $7000, a Honey Stinger & Energy super gift basket, and a DT Swiss Wheelset, riders are all ages are welcome to compete.
Taking place on Saturday, July 16th, 2022, riders can choose multiple routes including 20, 44, or 66-mile paved rides as well as 50 and 100-mile gravel trails. Some areas riders may travel thru, depending on their course, are the Gore, Lynx, and Rabbit Ears Passes, the Stagecoach Reservoir, and Sarvis Creek.
Early registration is recommended, as the event sells out yearly, and comes at a discounted rate. The Tour de Steamboat also is seeking volunteers, providing them with ride sway, a volunteer t-shirt, and lunch.
