The down-home, cozy feel of Berthoud is a perfect setting for the holiday season in Colorado. Each year Main Street comes to life at the Berthoud SNOWFEST.
Professional and amateur snow sculptors compete to see who can create the most festive depiction of the season. With vendor booths, holiday activities for kids, street caroling, a parade, and the lighting of the Christmas tree, everyone who attends gets quickly swept away into the holiday cheer.
This family-friendly event is possibly canceled indefinitely, TBD. Snow artists sculpt their creations each day throughout the festival. Then the fun comes to its peak when open voting ballots are tallied and the winner is crowned by the community.
