Those looking to get transported back in time should head to Loveland this summer to catch the annual Colorado Medieval Festival. Taking place over 3 days, on-site performers include magicians, belly dancers, and sword fighters as well as live bands. And don’t worry about food and drinks as there are plenty of options to indulge in during the festival.
A great event to shop for crafts, accessories, and other fantastical items, this year’s Colorado Medieval Festival will take place from Friday to Sunday, TBD 2025. Attendees can also participate in contests like Heavy & Light Hammer, Caber & Weight for Height, Braemar Stone, Heavy & Light Weight for Distance, and Sheaf.

Costumes are encouraged, but not required. If you don’t have quite the right clothes for the occasion, browse the vendors and pick up a few pieces to complete your outfit. Moreover, pets are not allowed to attend unless they are registered service animals.
