Another wine event worth your visit is the Durango Wine Festival, a 2-day festival held each spring. If you love drinking wine or you simply want to learn more about it, then head on and sip your way through town.
The annual Durango Wine Experience will be happening Friday and Saturday, April 26th to April 27th, 2024 around town and on the Smiley Building Lawn. On Friday, Durango turns into an interactive, multi-location wine-tasting event with sips and snacks at multiple restaurants, galleries, shops, and outdoor spaces. Saturday is more of a typical wine event, with hundreds of wines and spirits under a big outdoor tent for mingling.
Aside from tasting wines and craft beers from different artisans and wineries, it’s a great opportunity to mingle with professionals in different alcohol industries. There will also be educational seminars and wine dinners for those who would like a little something extra.
