If you want to experience what it was like in the Old West, then drop by the Leadville Boom Days festival to relive those good old days. It’s an annual multi-day event in August celebrated by the historic mining town, showcasing the real and authentic Wild West experience, perfect for visitors to get a taste of the time period.
The festival will be celebrating its 74th annual festival from Friday to Sunday, August 1st to 3rd, 2025 in Leadville. There will be a handful of activities and surprises when you take part in the event, so don’t give alarm when you see locals dressed up in Old Victorian clothes and Wild West gunfights break out.
Aside from taking you back to the good old days, the festival also has a car show, motorcycle games, parades, a pie-eating contest, live music and dance, a pancake breakfast, and a craft fair with more than 100 vendors.
