It’s an annual multi-day event in August celebrated by the historic mining town, showcasing the real and authentic Wild West experience, perfect for visitors to get a taste of the time period.
The festival will be celebrating its 72nd annual festival from Friday to Sunday, August 4th – 6th, 2023 in Leadville. There will be a handful of activities and surprises when you take part in the event so don’t give be alarmed when you see locals dressed up in Old Victorian clothes and Wild West gunfights break out.
Aside from taking you back to the good old days, the festival also has a car show, motorcycle games, parades, pie-eating contest, live music and dance, pancake breakfast, and a craft fair with more than 100 vendors.
