Featuring live entertainment, vendors, a silent auction, food trucks, and activities for kids, the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department’s Mountain Festival in Bellvue can’t be missed. Held annually on the first Saturday after Labor Day in a beautiful mountain meadow, this free event helps raise funds for the volunteer fire department.
Admission to this event is free, and there is a tractor-pulled hayride shuttle to and from the parking area. Taking place on TBD 2025 (last event: Saturday, September 7th, 2024), there will be a special 9/11 commemorative memorial in addition to the recognition of first responders and the RCVFD firefighters.
Activities guests can expect at the festival include:

- A large activity area for the kids
- Book, plant, and bake sales
