Swink is a little town located on Colorado’s southeastern plains. It’s situated just northwest of La Junta and had a population of 604 in 2020.

Incorporated in 1906, the statutory town is part of Otero County. There has been a Swink Post Office in town since the same year that it was incorporated. A Colorado politician known as George W. Swink was the reason for the town’s name.

While there are no hotels in Swink, the best hotels in La Junta are just five to ten minutes away.
