Swink is a little town located on Colorado’s southeastern plains. It’s situated just northwest of La Junta and had a population of 677 in 2010.
Incorporated in 1906, the statutory town is part of Otero County. There has been a Swink Post Office in town since the same year that it was incorporated. A colorado politician known as George W. Swink was the reason for the town’s name.
