Boulder International Film Festival Activities
Chockablock with pre-parties, film screenings, panels, workshops, and hobnobbing, you’ll never be bored at this nearly city-wide festival. Check out the CineCHEF fundraiser, where locally renowned chefs create film-inspired meals for you or go to the singer-songwriter showcase to watch other performing artists at their best while also participating in a whiskey tasting.
There’s also a youth education program and a teen short film competition to enjoy. Local hotels often provide themed afterparties for the 21+ crowd, where you can dress to impress, sip on some of Boulder’s best cocktails, and keep your eyes peeled for celebrity sightings.
This event has grown so large that part of it stretches into surrounding towns, like the opening night party held at the Longmont Stewart Auditorium. Some film selections are also taking place at this Longmont location. If you can’t attend in person, you can buy BIFF at Home passes for virtual screenings. For film festival guests, Hop rides are often discounted, as is garage parking.
