Back for its 15th year, The Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit is a competitive race situated 14,115 feet above sea level. Sanctioned by USA Cycling and offering multiple categories for competitors, racers will climb over 1,400 feet across the 12.5-mile (20 km) course. With chances to win medals and become part of the Summit Society, The Broadmoor Cycle to the Summit takes place rain or shine.
Hosted at the same course used for The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, this year’s race takes place on Saturday, August 10th, 2024. All cyclists must register before the event and brake inspections are mandatory on the day of the race. The E-Bike Open category is limited to three defined classes (Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3).

Due to the intensity of the summit’s descent, cyclists are asked to be careful as they head down Pikes Peak. For those needing a break, there will be 2 rest areas (Glen Cove & Devils Playground) with snacks and water at the festival area and summit. Anyone who simply wants to watch the will be required to pay the gateway entrance fee. Packet pick-up for racers takes on Thursday and Friday, August 10th and 11th.
