The 8th annual Pond Hockey Classic is one of the winter highlights of Grand Lake, Colorado. Experience ice hockey in its truest fashion every February on Colorado’s largest natural lake, Grand Lake.
This year’s ice hockey tournament is held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. Registration opens on December 1st, 2024. The natural Grand Lake is located right next to downtown Grand Lake, making it a convenient and fun place to play.
60 teams will be competing on the 8 all-natural ice rinks on the frozen Grand Lake. Teams are divided into three divisions ensuring friendly and fair competition. The puck drop is at 9 am.
$500 in prizes are offered. Bring the kids and dogs for this unique winter event in Grand County.
A couple of weeks later in February Silverthorne hosts the larger Pabst Colorado Pond Hockey Tournament.
