Pinecliffe consists of a Post Office and some residences. It’s an unincorporated community located on Highway 72, southeast of Nederland in Coal Creek Canyon, near Golden, Colorado.

South Boulder Creek and a railroad run through town. The main recreation is the Great Outdoors. You can find Roosevelt National Forest to the north and Arapaho National Forest to the south.
