Located north of Walden near the Wyoming border, Cowdrey is the northernmost community in North Park. It sits at 7,917 feet in northern Colorado.

The unincorporated community in Jackson County has its own post office with a zip code of 80434. Cowdrey Reservoir resides less than two miles south of town.
