Jackson County, also known as North Park, is one of the northernmost counties in Colorado and the fourth-least densely populated county with only 1,394 residents as of 2010. Walden is the county seat and only incorporated municipality.
The county contains the Never Summer Wilderness, the 71,000-acre Colorado State Forest, and the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge.
