Sometimes spelled with a space, La Salle, or LaSalle, is a tiny plains town located right below Greeley. In 2020 it had a population of 2,359.
A statutory town, LaSalle resides at 4,678 feet in a rural section of the Northern Front Range. It’s located in Weld County. It was incorporated in 1910 and a post office has been in use since 1886. Chicago’s LaSalle Street gave the town its name by railroad builders.
