Dacono is a small front range town located 30 minutes north of Denver on I-25. In 2010 it recorded a population of 4,152 residents.
The city was incorporated on September 23, 1908 and is considered a Home Rule Municipality. The relatively rural town in Weld County resides at an elevation of 5,030 feet.
