Kersey is a small Statutory Town located about fifteen minutes east of Greeley. The plains town had a 2010 population of 1,454 residents.

It’s located at 4,619 feet of elevation in Weld County. The town was incorporated on December 3rd, 1908. There has been a Kersey Post Office operating since 1894. It was named after a railroad official’s mother’s maiden name.
