Dacono is a small, but growing front range town located 30 minutes north of Denver on I-25. In 202 it recorded a population of 6,297 residents.
The rural city was incorporated on September 23, 1908, and is considered a Home Rule Municipality. The relatively rural town in Weld County resides at an elevation of 5,030 feet.
