Opened in 1987 and named after President Gerald R. Ford, the amphitheater is operated by the Vail Valley Foundation, a non-profit. With both pavilion and lawn seating available, the outdoor amphitheater makes for a unique experience in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Upcoming 2021 events include the Vail Dance Festival, Turkuaz, Stephen Marley, the End of Summer Community Celebration, Death Cab For Cutie, and Phil Lesh & Friends.
