Tucked away on the north side of Berthoud Pass, Winter Park is a gem for tree skiing, expansive western views and affordable deals. There are hundreds of places to stay in town, with plenty of solid choices for a cool, clean hotel that satisfies.

One cool thing about staying in Winter Park is the myriad of reasonably priced vacation getaways. The crowds are thinner than in Summit County, and the distance from Denver, less than 1.5 hours, is the same. Consisting of the interconnected mountains of Mary Jane and Winter Park, Winter Park Resort boasts more than 3,000 skiable acres, and lift ticket coupons that can actually be found.

If you want to be in the heart of Winter Park Village, Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a prime choice with views of the slopes from your balcony. The Zephyr Express Chairlift is just out back of the hotel some 100 feet. Run by the Winter Park Resort Lodging, you have the option of staying either “slopeside” or “riverside”.

Choose condos from 1 to 3 bedrooms, all fully equipped to ensure an easy vacation. Amenities include 4 outdoor hot tubs, a gym, Front Desk, and several nice common areas. Shopping, dining, and adventure awaits outside the hotel in the Village.
